Don't Text and Drive PSA

My topic was about driving and texting.
I learned several different things about this topic, one thing I learned is that if you text and drive, you're 23 times more likely to have a car crash.
The interesting facts I used from the website http://www.textinganddrivingsafety.com/texting-and-driving-stats/ was that there are at least 1,600,000 accidents per year.
My rough sketches and ideas are here

My finished PSA informs and educates the viewer by allowing them to understand the consequences of texting and driving. The website also states statistics and facts about texting and driving.

Color Psychology

In the article I discovered that color influences a person's mental and physical state. Color is often associated with a person's emotions. All colors have different effects, they are categorized as warm colors and cool colors. Warm colors such as red yellow and orange can spark a variety of emotions ranging from comfort and warmth to hostility and anger. Cool colors such as green, blue and purple spark feelings of calmness as well as sadness. Different shades and tones also result in very different meanings. This all has to do with color psychology. More information about the psychology of color can be found on this page http://www.arttherapyblog.com/online/color-psychology-psychologica-effects-of-colors#at_pco=smlre-1.0&at_tot=4&at_ab=per-9&at_pos=1

This site below gives you information on the psychology of color. It gives you a short introduction about how we see color in our eyes. In this article you can also see how each color gives a different emotion and what certain colors symbolize. I love this site because it also tells you how colors influence  fashion and advertisements. They have a paragraph explaining observations and data on certain colors. If your interested on learning what I learned reading this feel free to go to the website below.

In the Shepard Fairey case, Shepard was accused of falsifying and destroying documents on his use of an image of Obama. Shepard Fairey had used a photo taken of Obama that he had used to make his now famous poster of "hope" used in the presidential elections. He lied about what image was used to create his poster. He later admitted to have used a photo taken by an AP photographer. They later found out Fairey had destroyed documents that proved he had not used the photo of Obama. Fairey and AP settled the suit for 1.6 million dollars.

Dream Destination Get-away

If money wasn't a problem, I would love to be in Hawaii. Hawaii is such a beautiful place, and it looks like a very fun place to visit. Hawaii is a dream destination for me because I've never been there before, and I would love to go.

The official website tourism for Hawaii is http://www.gohawaii.com/maui/guidebook/top-sights. In this link you can find any information that you want to know. You can also find pictures and videos of how Maui Hawaii looks like. This website allows you to find good hotels around the area as well.

I imagine visiting this location and my experiences being like the image I illustrated below with me laying on a hammock enjoying the beautiful view of the beaches. Feeling relaxed by the sound of the waves.  I can't wait to go visit Maui one day to enjoy the beautiful view of the beaches, and touring around the whole island.
